We're thrilled to launch our 2025 middle school girls basketball season! Coach Pendelton is excited to start working with the girls for the upcoming season. We will have a parent information meeting following tryouts. More information will come home regarding the date and time. The important meeting will cover behavior and academic expectations, including academic eligibility.
Middle School Girls Basketball Tryout Information
Date: Tuesday, September 9, 2025
Time: 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm
Location: Atherton Junior Senior High School - Students should meet in Coach Pendleton's classroom (304) immediately following dismissal.
What to bring: Please wear athletic wear (shorts, joggers/sweatpants, t-shirts, sports bras, athletic shoes/sneakers), and bring a filled water bottle along with a positive attitude and work ethic.

Fall Student Count Day - October 1, 2025 Please make sure your child is in school for a full day on Wednesday. Fall Count Day directly impacts our schools' funding.
Reminder of the GAC Spectator Expectations for tonight's football game
The members of the Genesee Area Conference stand unified in our pursuit of sportsmanship and safety at all of our athletic events and venues
1. Spectators are not authorized to be on the playing surface at any time (before, during, or after competitions).
2. Cheer positively for your team and not against the opponents or officials.
3. Cheers or taunts directed at individual athletes or opposing teams will not be tolerated.
4. Profanity is strictly prohibited.
5. Artificial noisemakers of any kind are unauthorized at indoor events.
6. No re-entry, all spectators that leave, must purchase another ticket for entry.
7. School ID’s may be required for entry for grades 9-12
8. K-8th grade students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
9. No backpacks will be allowed.
