Second Semester School of Choice Window New Enrollment is January 12-January 30, 2026!

The 2025 Middle School Volleyball Season is approaching, and we are excited to see our WOLVERINES compete!! Our head coach, Ms. Eva Lakes, is fired up and ready to prepare our HARD WORKING girls for this season. On MONDAY, December 8, 2025, there will be tryouts after school from 3:45 to 5:00 pm. Please make sure that your child gets a sports physical conducted and it's on file! Once the team is finalized, we will be conducting a parent meeting detailing the following:

1. Academic Eligibility and Requirements
2. Atherton Student-Athlete Expectations
3. Team Bonding Opportunities
4. Team Development/Overall Season Outlook
5. Practice and Games Schedules/Protocols
6. Communication (re: cancellations, rescheduled, updates, etc)

Please be prepared Monday to have FUN and WORK HARD.
Here are a few things to bring for tryouts:
1. Athletic attire (joggers, shorts, hair-tie, t-shirt, sweatshirt, athletic shoes/sneakers (NO CROCS/flip-flops))
2. Water Bottle
3. Inhaler if needed
4. Positive Attitude and Mindset

Atherton Community Schools hosting our first Winter Craft Show!

We are excited to showcase our WOLVERINE PRIDE and begin our 2025 high school WINTER sports seasons. We have provided information below about each winter sport available at Atherton JR/HS. Parent meetings will be conducted once teams are finalized. The parent meeting will cover academic eligibility, behavior/discipline, team bonding, practice/game schedules, protocols, etc. Please contact Athletic Director Mr. Desman Stephens at dstephens@athertonschools.org or Athletic Secretary Holli Floyd at (810) 591-5263 with any questions.

AVA is a Learn From Home day

Dear Families,
We received the results of the second AJSHS water/well tests. The levels are not within acceptable limits. We are working to determine the source of the second test problem and have it resolved as quickly as possible. The water is safe for handwashing, but without acceptable results for the water test, it still cannot be ingested. We will continue to provide bottled water.
