We are a small district that offers big opportunities! If you are looking for a welcoming school community where students and families grow roots, Atherton Community Schools is the right place! Our district serves K-12 students living in the Burton, Michigan community as well as students from surrounding districts through our School of Choice program.

Small class sizes in our schools allow for personalized attention where staff learn each student's strengths and unique learning styles. Our low student-to-teacher ratios ensure all students are mentored and their voice is encouraged and welcomed. Further, with a variety of extracurricular activities available, including successful sports teams, there is ample opportunity for all students to connect to school outside of academic classes.

District residents are encouraged to enroll today and non-resident families are welcome to apply for admission through our School of Choice program.
