Principal's Welcome

Atherton Elementary Principal

Welcome to Atherton Elementary where our youngest Wolverines learn and grow!

We are proud to offer small class sizes and a learning environment that focuses on the whole child; academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.

Our school proudly hosts an after-school 21st Century Community Learning Center. Students in grades K-6 are invited to participate in fun creative learning experiences that connect and reinforce learning from the school day. The program activities include arts and culture, fitness and nutrition, academics, STEM, and leadership development. Our school also has a newly renovated library that offers cozy reading areas for students to grow their love of reading and diverse reading materials.

Further, families have many opportunities to become involved at AES. We welcome parents to volunteer in our classrooms, attend field trips, join classroom and school celebrations, participate in evening events, and become members of our Parent-Teacher Organization.

If you have questions or would like enrollment information, please contact our main office at 810-591-0604.
