ACS is proposing a $13.4 million bond measure on the November 4, 2025, ballot to make meaningful investments in its facilities and learning environments. These investments reflect the district’s strong connection to the community it serves.

The 2020 bond helped address urgent infrastructure needs, but it did not cover everything. Since then, the district has reviewed its facilities and educational spaces, and new priorities have emerged, including improvements in athletics, classroom environments, and safety.

Atherton’s schools are more than classrooms. They are gathering places, performance stages, athletic fields, and spaces where relationships grow and traditions are passed down. The 2025 bond builds on the progress made in 2020 and allows the district to continue investing in students and the broader community. The plan was developed through a comprehensive review of facility needs across the district, including input from architects, financial consultants, and district leadership. It addresses aging infrastructure, athletic facilities upgrades, and classroom enhancements.

The proposed bond would support:

District-wide upgrades such as roofing, drainage, and site improvements
Athletic enhancements including a new 8-lane track, press box, scoreboard, bleachers, and restrooms
Classroom improvements such as new furniture, heating and cooling systems, and electrical upgrades
Digital signage and campus visibility improvements to better connect the district with families and neighbors

Bond funds cannot be used for salaries or operational expenses. Every dollar will go toward capital improvements that directly benefit students and the school community.
