Dear Parents,
The incident that occurred today at the high school was a verbal altercation between students that occurred prior to 6th hour. After the students were spoken to by the administrative staff and were leaving the building, a fight broke out between one of the students and another student in the hallway and parents became involved. The building was put in lockdown and 911 was called for police support in containing both students and parents. We are still piecing everything together and viewing video to gain a greater understanding of who was involved and to what extent.
I apologize for the vagueness of the prior communication as we were attempting to communicate the changes for this evening's football senior night event.

Due to the incident that occurred this afternoon at the high school, we will only allow parents, grandparents, and accompanied siblings as spectators for tonight's Senior Night game versus Morrice. Each football player and band member has been asked to provide the names of each specific family member who plans to attend. As you enter the ticket area, please be patient as we cross reference our lists.
It is unfortunate these measures need to be taken as we honor our seniors on senior night, but to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators, it is necessary.
