    Wow. The year has gone by so fast. I hope you enjoyed Spring Break. This Friday, April 12 at 11:15 am Van Y will be hosting "Let's Do Lunch" aka Lunch with a Loved One. If you plan on joining us, please go to your student's classroom and sign your child out. We are looking forward to seeing you.

  • March is Reading Month

    Wow, it's March already. But what an exciting Month. March is Reading Month at Van Y Elementary. We have some great activities planned, from Dr. Seuss' Birthday Readers to Our Annual One school, One book. This year I'm excited to announce that we are reading "Charlotte's Web." Our students will each receive their own copy on Monday, March 4th. Make sure you check out the calendar of events and questions that the students took home today. Also, they are posted here on our website and facebook.
