Welcome to Mr. Schott's Classroom!

Who is Mr. Schott?

- I am a teacher at Atherton Jr./Sr. High School. I teach English 10, English 12, and 7/8 Drama.

- I am a devoted nerd who balances my time between working with awesome young people and playing videogames, watching Anime, and writing my own fiction novels. 

- I absolutely love writing! I am a novelist, and I have published two books in the last three years. I am currently working on my third, and it should be ready for publication before the end of this school year. 

- Education is in my blood. My mother and father were both English teachers. My mother retired from Marlette Jr./Sr. High School a couple years ago, while my father still works at Clio High School. Even my little sister followed the family tradition and teaches Spanish at Davison High School.

If you wish to make an appointment to speak with me about your student in any capacity, I'm available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 pm. You can contact me or the main office, and we will schedule a time for you. 

For any students struggling in my class, I am available after school for one-on-one tutoring, Mondays-Thursdays.
